The Paterno Family Beaver Stadium Run 3 mile run or 1 mile family walk Join us on Sunday, April 19, 2015 for the 6th Annual Paterno Family Beaver Stadium 3 Mile Run and 1 Mile Family Fun Walk at Penn State University during Blue White Weekend. More than 4,000 runners and walkers of all ages and abilities took part in last year's event, helping to raise more than $400K. Presented by the Sheetz Family, the Run begins in the vicinity of the Bryce Jordan Center (BJC) on Curtin Road, moves through Penn State’s scenic campus, and concludes with runners racing through the Beaver Stadium Tunnel and onto the Nittany Lions’ home turf to “finish at the fifty!” Proceeds from the Run benefit Special Olympics Pennsylvania and nearly 20,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
