Fall 2013 Scholarship Recipients Congratulations to Katie Ali and Rachel-Paige Mumenthaler!
Katie and Rachel-Paige were selected as our Fall 2013 recipients of the Penn State Montgomery County Alumni Chapter’s scholarship. They each will receive a scholarship in the amount of $1,000.
Katie is
currently a sophomore in the college of Information Sciences and Technology
(IST). She is a member of Women in IST and IST THON. Katie also enjoys running
and hiking in her free time. She is from Gilbertsville, PA and is interning for
a Systems Engineering and Integration company this summer in King of Prussia,
PA.
Rachel-Paige is currently a junior in the College of Liberal
Arts majoring in International Political Economy and Economy and minoring in Spanish. She is a member of the Schreyer Honors College and a Paterno Fellow. Rachel-Paige is also a
member of the Liberal Arts Undergraduate Council and College of Liberal Arts Envoys, of
which, she was voted Secretary for the past 2 years. She also competes with the
Club Tennis team. Rachel-Paige is from Collegeville, PA and is currently studying abroad in Seville, Spain for the summer. When
she’s in Montgomery County, she volunteers as a member of the local 4-H
club,
which she has been doing for most of her life. The majority of her volunteer time centers around the 4-H fair. She also spends some of her free time at home volunteering for a local Senator.
