The Holiday season is upon us once again, and along with it are several Community Service events. One project that we are looking forward to is the annual Toys-for-Tots event that will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at the Willow Grove Naval Air Base. At this event, eight PSU MontCo volunteers will be needed to sort and package donated toys for distribution to children in need, in time for the Holiday Season.

Last year the Penn State volunteers shined as we went above and beyond what other volunteer groups had accomplished. The Penn State volunteers filled more orders quicker and more efficiently than any other volunteer group that the Marines had worked with. Let’s do it again this year, and raise the bar for all volunteer groups to follow. We are looking for 8 volunteers who are available from 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 pm.
