Dear Penn State Traveler,
Blue water, white sand, and the Penn State Family…The perfect vacation combination. Join the Penn State Alumni Association for our second Penn State Family Escape July 20–27, 2008, in beautiful St. Maarten in the Caribbean.
For the 2008 Penn State Family Escape, we will be going to the gorgeous Sonesta Maho Beach Resort and Casino, consisting of 10 tropical Caribbean beachfront acres, located on the Dutch side of St. Maarten. Staying in the Ocean Terrace wing of the resort, we will have our own slice of paradise for the week, including a private pool. We’ve kept the popular features of last year’s Family Escape including family friendly affordability, group opening and closing parties, a five-day kids camp, family-inclusive activities, and exciting Penn State excursions. An added feature in 2008 is an all-inclusive meal and bar plan, which includes a special “dine around town” privilege. In addition, we have arranged for non-stop group air from Philadelphia, Newark, JFK, Charlotte, and Washington/Dulles for your convenience. Program hosts Alumni Association President David Han, his wife, Betsy, and their two children once again will join in the fun to ensure that you have the perfect vacation.
If the “family thing” isn’t “your thing,” we invite you to look at all the other opportunities to travel with fellow Penn Staters throughout the rest of 2008 at www.alumni.psu.edu/travel. You many also find “Family Escape” information at this site if the above links do not work with your browser.
Feel free to call the Alumni Association at 800-548-5466, option 5 or to book your Family Escape right away, contact Classic Cruise and Vacations at 814-237-7245.
Sincerely, or as they say in St. Maarten, De brandkast reist (safe travels),
