CITY LIGHTS '08 PHILADELPHIA - We Are...The People

WE ARE....THE PEOPLE

Thursday, March 6th, 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm the National Constitution Center.

We Are...The People will feature Clay Calvert, the John and Ann Curley Professor of First Amendment Studies, professor of communications and law, and co-director of the Pennsylvania Center for the First Amendment. An engaging speaker, Dr. Calvert will discuss freedom of speech and of the press, while examining the "culture wars" as government tries to police language and violence in media. The evening will begin with a get-acquainted reception with "heavy" hors d'oeuvres. You can come earlier to enjoy, on your own, the National Constitution Center, with its interactive and multimedia exhibits, celebrating the foundation our our Democracy.

Alumni Association members and their guests, $25.00; non-members and their guests, $35.00.
