We are very proud to announce the 2007 PSU MontCo Scholarship Recipients!

Jillian Provost of Harleysville, PA and Lindsay Marie Allan of Dresher, PA have been selected as the recipients of the Penn State Montgomery County Alumni Chapter’s Fall 2007 scholarship. 

Jillian is currently a junior in the College of Education and majoring in World Language Education.  She is the Co-founder and President of the Penn State Strike 3 ALS Organization.  Founded in January of 2006, the organization helps to raise awareness and funds towards finding a cure for ALS, more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.  During her summers in Montgomery County, Jillian volunteers her time with the Philadelphia Chapter of the ALS Association.

Lindsay is currently a senior in the College of Liberal Arts where she is pursuing a major in Psychology.  At University Park, she is very involved with THON and has served as a member of the THON Hospitality Committee.  She is also a member of Psi Chi, the National Honor Society of Psychology.  During her spare time in Montgomery County, Lindsay works at the Variety Club Camp and Development Center in Worcester helping children with special needs.
